Isabel Rodríguez accuses Feijóo of

The government spokeswoman, Isabel Rodríguez, has considered it "clear" that the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, was aware of the agreement between his party and the Executive to renew the CGPJ and has accused him of showing "insolvency, immaturity, cynicism and little sense of state".

"In Spain it is popularly said that lies have very short legs, and Mr. Feijóo has been 'legged short' with his answers and has made it clear that everything he proclaimed he was going to do upon arrival is an absolute lie, like this one in relation to the CGPJ agreement", Rodríguez stressed in an interview on TVE.

He recalled that from the previous leadership of the PP it is being stated that Feijóo was aware of that agreement and that he has Cuca Gamarra as secretary general, who was already a spokesman for the PP in Congress at the Casado stage.

For the also Minister of Territorial Policy, "no one enters into the head" that Feijóo comes to take charge of the PP and does not assume large state affairs such as that of the judiciary.

In addition, he has indicated that after the meeting he had with the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in the Palacio de la Moncloa, there was a common location to continue talking about this matter.

For all this, he has insisted on his criticism of the leader of the PP: "He has been in the wrong place. Spain is great for him and, fortunately, the Spanish have precious time until the next general elections to discover the real Feijóo, who is showing insolvency , immaturity, cynicism and little sense of State"

He has also referred to the PP by informing that the Government is working to obtain the support of the parliamentary groups for the decree with the energy saving measures that will be voted on this week in Congress and stressing that those who do not support it will have to explain themselves to the citizens.

Waiting for the direction of the vote of the main opposition party on this matter, the Government spokesperson has indicated that with Pablo Casado at the head of the PP, this party was "denier", but with the arrival of Feijóo it has gone on to "obstruct Executive action.

Rodríguez has also referred to the possibility that the Government pardon the former Andalusian president José Antonio Griñán to point out that if the time comes he has to analyze it, "he will study it in detail."
