The 17-year-old minor who entered the Sant Joan d'Alacant Hospital in a coma on June 30 after ingesting two ecstasy pills was declared in a state of brain death on Friday and his situation is now irreversible, as reported by the doctors and published by Caso Abierto. The young man, who is connected to the hospital's machines, could not recover from the severe poisoning after being hospitalized for 22 days.

According to the same medium, the young man was with a friend when he took the synthetic drug and, after a while, he began to feel bad. He was then transferred to the hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition. In recent days, his condition was critical.

The National Police arrested a 26-year-old man this week who allegedly sold ecstasy pills to minors. The police force explained that the investigation began after the minor was hospitalized and maintained that, after the suspect's arrest, 11 ecstasy pills, 48 ​​grams of methamphetamine, 92 doses of LSD, 57 grams of hashish, a 9mm pistol and 4,724 euros in cash were seized from his home.

After several inquiries, the agents discovered that it was the arrested person who directly sold the pills to the minor, without taking into account the victim's minority and the effect that the consumption of the amphetamines he supplied could have on him.

For this reason, the detainee, who has numerous records, has been charged with the crimes of drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and crimes against public health and his immediate admission to prison was ordered, in an operation that was orchestrated by the Narcotics Group due to the possibility that the health of more people was in danger.
