Ifema considers the return of Formula 1 to Madrid for granted: "I know when we are going to sign it"

The engines are still not roaring, but the countdown has already begun. "We have a confidentiality agreement (with the organizers) and I cannot reveal when we are going to have the contract. But I know when we are going to sign it and when we are going to announce it," said De los Mozos during his participation in the informative meeting that organizes New Economy Forum.

The words of De los Mozos put an end to the caution maintained to date by the different parties involved, including the president of the Community, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who has never hidden her optimism although at no time has she expressed herself in such categorical terms. .

De los Mozos, in fact, has not stopped there and has slipped some details of the previous conversations. "I speak with Stephano Domenicali (the head of Formula 1) and there is mutual trust, we are going to do things," De los Mozos stressed.

"If in the end there are two, I'm delighted, but I speak and work for Madrid."

De los Mozos has the support of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce whose president, Ángel Asensio, has claimed to be "to death" with the proposal.

Asensio, in fact, has praised the management of De los Mozos in the three years he has been at Ifema, but also his ability to project the future of the fair institution with proposals such as the one he has made to the management of Formula 1.

"When José Vicente told me about the idea, I told him. He has all my support and backing (...) he is the only one who can achieve it, and he will have the ability to close the deal because of his work and his contacts," he said. aggregate.
