Hidden paradises on the Costa Brava

Breathe fresh air, feel great tranquility, infinite silence and have contact with nature while walking along the Camino de Ronda.

All this is what we propose with this photographic report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, where the images invite us to discover and enjoy a hidden paradise of beaches and coves, on the Costa Brava.

So much so that the Aiguablava and Fonda beaches and coves are one of the most important paradisiacal places in Catalonia. Both are located in Begur, a beautiful medieval town in the Baix Emporda, considered an important tourist attraction on the Costa Brava.

Walking along the Camí de Ronda path allows you to enjoy nature, its landscape and its history. It was an old road used by the police to stop smuggling into France. This road takes us to these small coves.

The Aiguablava beach is shallow, its tranquility and its turquoise waters, its fine sand, make it very similar to a natural pool. It makes it a true paradise.

Another magical cove is Playa Fonda, located at the foot of the imposing Cabo de Begur, which captivates us with its silence and calm. It is considered a hidden natural corner, surrounded by enormous cliffs, Mediterranean pines and its peculiar coarse sand and dark color.
