The new information involving Enrique and Meghan has nothing to do with it. As reported by Hello Magazine, the royal couple has adopted Sinkie, a sick rooster that was previously the property of their good friend and neighbor, the presenter Ellen DeGeneres.
Announcing the news via her Instagram profile, Ellen, 65, gave her followers an update on Sinkie's health. The presenter revealed that the bird had been intimidated by other chickens rescued on the Montecito farm, which she shares with his wife, Portia de Rossi. Ellen explained that Sinkie, who had just recovered from a fractured fibula, was fine, since her friends Meghan and Enique took care of her.
"Sinkie's leg is fixed, but our chickens were still bothering her, so we had to rehome her," the popular presenter wrote on her Instagram profile. "Fortunately, our friends Harry and Meghan's cooperative had room for one more. I'm still not sure what their royal title will be," the television joked. Later, DeGeneres shared a video of the animal already at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's home.
