Francis Montesinos testifies as accused in a case of sexual abuse of a minor

Francis Montesinos has testified before the judge this Monday morning as a witness/harmed by a case open in the courts of Llíria and, also, as investigated by the second that is being investigated for extortion and alleged sexual abuse of a child under 15 years. For the second reason, he was arrested and later released on May 8.

The Court of First Instance and Instruction number 5 of Llíria (Valencia) is currently instructing two cases on the Valencian couturier: one in which he appears as harmed by the assault on his home in October and another as a result of his arrest on the 8th of May in relation to a crime against the sexual indemnity of minors, in which he is under investigation along with two other men, as reported by the TSJ of the Valencian Community.

The head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 5 of Llíria initiated preliminary proceedings last October in relation to the complaint filed by Francis Montesinos for the assault on his home. These preliminary proceedings are followed initially, and without prejudice to further classification, for crimes of robbery with violence in an inhabited house, illegal detention and extortion, in which the couturier appears as injured party/complainant and in which there is a person of legal age under investigation. . In this case, the Civil Guard also implicates two minors, but the proceedings against them continue in this last jurisdiction.

After receiving an expanded statement from the Civil Guard reporting the arrest of Montesinos himself and other people, the court agreed to deduce testimony from the initial legal case --a procedure similar to a complaint-- and to open a second investigation, which It continues against the dressmaker and two other men for crimes against the freedom and sexual indemnity of minors.

The couturier had denounced having been extorted in October of last year, allegedly by a young man, who asked him for an amount of money so as not to broadcast a video with images that committed him to the designer. At the same time, he assured that his home had been broken into, he had been assaulted and, as a consequence, he was hospitalized for an anxiety attack.

After the complaint, the Investigating Court number 5 of Llíria opened an investigation in which the couturier was only listed as injured party/complainant and which, with the extension of the report, has given rise to a second case, already as being investigated. The couturier was released after being arrested, waiting to be summoned by the court, an appearance that has been set for this Monday
