For rave parties, the ANC

The remote places of Catalonia host rave parties on many weekends, with the consequent social alarm among the people of order, which forces the Mossos and TV3 –as if they had nothing better to do– to set up large devices that usually end with the arrest of a couple of placed foreigners, the seizure of three chumba chumba speakers and four fines.

For me, on the other hand, the rave party that was disturbing to me was not the one in the towns of Sarral or Torà, but the one set up by the ANC in the Cultural and Moral Center of Poblenou in Barcelona, where the attendees sacrificed their health, their well-being emotional and his Saturday to agree with José María Aznar, who prophesied – with more vision than in Iraq – that Catalonia would break sooner than Spain.

And what a way to break! And without getting stuck!

Apparently, the attendees dedicated themselves to resigning one after the other, the most shocking being that of number two, Jordi Pesarrodona, popular for wearing clown noses to the police and -more recently- for a commented swimming pool in a demonstration (I think anti-fascist).

Up to 14 resignations were presented, among which the president of the ANC did not appear, a very strange position that the most voted never holds. And why would she resign if the ANC is like that, pure Life of Brian? After all, already in 2020 seven members of the secretariat left with intemperate boxes.

I recognize myself as an urbanite. That a few hundred young people park their caravans and cars in open spaces where Christ lost his nails does not affect my peace of mind. There they, who are young.

The thing about the ANC, on the other hand, has caused me anxiety since 2014, when they announced to great fanfare 100,000 volunteers to carry out "the most festive and participatory door-to-door campaign that has ever been done." I think it was to convert looks like me to the independence movement.

Even today, when the doorbell rings, I ask myself if it is not some straggler volunteer from those who offered to personally guarantee the collection of the pension in the event of breaking with Spain. That's a rave!
