The Generalitat Firefighters are working this Monday morning on the active fire at a composting plant in Botarell (Tarragona), they have reported in a note in 'X'.
At around 7:45 a.m., about 12 ground units and 28 firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire, which is 100% burning a pile of pruning remains covering about two hectares.
According to firefighters, after having protected the plant's warehouses, they have stabilized the perimeter of the fire, which is burning slowly.
