Feijóo does not rule out that Sánchez gives in and there is a referendum like the one Aragonès asked for

"Everything is possible". The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo does not rule out that the acting president, Pedro Sánchez, ends up giving in to the independentists and promotes a self-determination referendum like the one proposed by the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonés, in the Senate, although "disguised of consultation".

In an interview on Telecinco, the popular leader, who was satisfied with the development of the autonomous communities commission held yesterday in the Senate, stressed that "it is possible" that Sánchez will give in to holding "a referendum disguised as a non-binding consultation ", since otherwise a binding referendum could not do so in accordance with the Constitution.

Feijóo is based on the fact that if one listens to what Pedro Sánchez has been saying about the amnesty, and what the PSOE now accepts, and what he said then about the referendum, it cannot be ruled out that, on this matter, he will also change his mind. "If what he said a few years ago, a few months ago or a few days ago were heard, he would make a motion of censure on his own words," both in regards to agreeing with Podemos and with Bildu.

And that is why he is convinced that “if he can have a referendum disguised as a consultation, technically a non-binding referendum, but an advisory one, because the binding one could not do it, it is possible that he will do it. “I do not rule it out in any case,” said the president of the Popular Party.

It is a belief that the PP has, because it knows nothing about what the PSOE is negotiating with the independentists: "There is no Spaniard who knows what Mr. Sánchez is negotiating. There is absolute obscurantism," said the president of the PP , and the only information it has is what Pere Aragonès gave in the Senate.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo does not comment on the possibility of holding elections, because "it does not depend on what happens in Spain", but it is decided by Carles Puigdemont, although he believes that it would be good to consult citizens about the amnesty and the referendum of self-determination. Among other things, because he considers that there can be a government, but not governability, since the Government's partners will be "those who want to sink the ship", so before that, in his opinion, it would be better to go to the polls again. In his opinion, "Spain is experiencing a blockade prior to the investiture and a constant blockade if the investiture is reached."

Regarding the conflict in the Middle East and the way in which Pedro Sánchez is managing what happened, both outside Spain, as well as inside, and within the Government itself, the popular leader considers that no one counts on Spain, he has no agenda, and The one you have is confusing. In his opinion "we have made a fool of ourselves" in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, because "a part of the Government cannot say the nonsense that he has said", from "an official office and with the flag of Spain."

In reference to the words of the Minister of Agenda 20-30, he stressed that "a member of the Government of Spain cannot say that Israel is a genocidal state and that Netanyahu has to appear in the International Court", when "he has been attacked by a terrorist gang with hundreds of dead and kidnapped", but he is convinced that Ione Belarra will not be dismissed "because she needs the votes of the minister and her four colleagues," he said in reference to the five Podemos deputies.

Feijóo also criticizes that Sánchez has not spoken with the president of Israel, when most of the countries of the European Union have had them, and he is the current president of the EU. If he had been president, he would have gone to Israel, or at least he would have talked to Netanyahu. He would also have had contact with the Palestinian National Authority.

The leader of the PP assured that he has no information about the anti-terrorist situation, beyond the call, today, of the meeting with the groups by the Ministry of the Interior. "He has not given me any information" and about the conflict, only on the day they met to discuss Sánchez's investiture, he told him "the generalities of the law, which he could have informed me through the media."
