ERC promotes the reprimand of Raquel Sánchez for the "catastrophe" of Rodalies

ERC will promote the disapproval of the Minister of Transport, Raquel Sánchez, for the "catastrophic management" of Rodalies. The president of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, has advanced it in an interview with ACN. "They have had many months and years to solve it, they have been incapable and it works worse and worse; someone has to assume political responsibility," said the leader of the Republicans, who believes that "they would call for resignations." "The only thing that depends on the socialist party is the thing that is going the worst in Catalonia", he has reproached them. Along these lines, he has said that "the best thing that can happen in Catalonia is that the PSC has few responsibilities and that, if it does have any, it is supervised by the ERC": "When it depends on them, they don't get ahead."

The Republicans will try to reprove Minister Raquel Sánchez in Congress, and Junqueras believes that it would also be necessary for "someone to assume political responsibility." "It can't be that they wash their hands every day, Pontius Pilate only washed them once," she said. Along the same lines, he has said that "if they are not able to meet schedules or renew materials" they would have to leave it and hire someone who is capable of doing it". For ERC, the transfer of Rodalies would solve it, since the management of the trains in Catalonia are "infinitely better", taking Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat as an example.

Junqueras asks "not to resign" before the malfunction of the trains to Catalonia, where "it is news if one day there are no delays." "That things are managed in a catastrophic way is not news because we have gotten used to it, but we cannot allow users to be abandoned to the misfortune of the PSC," he stressed. "That the PSC starts working and doing useful things for the country. It only has one job: to make Rodalies work. That at least this one does it well," he continued.

After the water summit that ended without an agreement, Junqueras has accused the PSC of acting "selfishly" in managing the drought. Those of Salvador Illa rejected an agreement due to the discrepancies with the executive on the sanctioning regime in the municipalities of the drought decree. The Pere Aragonès executive was willing to agree to a moratorium until July 1, but the PSC wanted one until at least September.

"It was the demonstration of the selfishness with which the PSC acts", has assured the president of ERC. He argues that in Catalonia there are "many municipalities that do a good job and make an effort to save water" and that "it is not good that there are other municipalities that take advantage of the good work of others to have an irresponsible attitude." In this sense, the Republicans defend the introduction of a sanctions regime to guarantee the "responsibility" of all.

But beyond the content, Junqueras believes that the Socialists "block" the agreement not because they do not share the fines regime, but because the PSC considers that "as a party it is better for them that there is no agreement": "They believe that they wear out the Government ". The ERC leader believes that this demonstrates "the irresponsibility and selfishness" of those from Illa and says that the formation is "the maximum expression" of the parties that "act in accordance with the interests of some of their leaders."
