Dozens of people would have died this Friday in an Israeli bombing against the Al Buraq public school in Gaza City within the framework of the intense attacks by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to reach the heart of this enclave.
The Efe agency raises the figure to 50 people, while other information agencies lower it to around twenty. The source of the information, in both cases, is the director of Al Shifa hospital, Mohammad Abu Selmeyah.
Like other hospitals in the north of the city, Al Shifa has been the subject of a furious Israeli offensive in recent hours. Although many displaced people are sheltered in this type of facility, the IDF considers the hospital to be the gateway to Hamas headquarters and one of the Islamists' key infrastructures.
