Mossos d'Esquadra from the police station of Badalona and Sant Adria de Besòs (Barcelonès North) arrested on October 26 two men aged 28 and 30 as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health, fraud of electric fluid and resistance and disobedience to the agents of the authority.
The Investigation Unit of the Badalona police station detected that there could be an indoor marijuana plantation in an industrial warehouse in the Montsolís industrial estate in Sant Adrià de Besòs. Apart from the efforts of the investigators, the electricity company workers informed the Mossos that the consumption of that warehouse was very high and compatible with a marijuana plantation of considerable magnitude.
Due to these events, on October 26, with judicial authorization, an entry and search was carried out in the warehouse where 975 marijuana plants were located and two men were arrested when they were fleeing through the roofs of the adjacent warehouses. Once arrested, they needed the help of a fire truck to get down since the fugitives were in danger due to a possible breakage of the roofs.
Agents from the Investigation Unit, ARRO, Drone Unit, Citizen Security, Firefighters, SEM and a technician from the electrical company participated in the device.
