The different administrations have already begun to announce the first packages of measures to try to alleviate and help, as much as possible, the families affected by the terrible fire that consumed, in a matter of hours, a building in Valencia. Furthermore, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, who has traveled to the scene of the events, has made available to the Valencia City Council and the Valencian Community all the Government's help to support the victims and repair the damage resulting from the fire. .

For his part, the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has announced that the Consell will approve a first package of direct aid of between 6,000 and 10,000 euros, depending on the members that make up the family unit, to cover basic necessities such as food, clothing or transportation, among others, “so that the most basic and urgent things can be attended to,” he noted.

The aid decree will also include amounts of between 1,000 and 1,500 euros per month for families who choose to rent a home, and for those who choose to acquire a property, the Generalitat will exempt them from paying the Property Transfer Tax, sources have reported. of the Generalitat in a statement.

Carlos Mazón has explained that this aid will be approved in the Plenary Session of the Consell, which will be held in an extraordinary manner in order to activate the necessary measures as soon as possible to alleviate the situation of the families. Furthermore, he has clarified that the aid, which will be compatible with that granted by any other public administration, will be channeled through the Valencia City Council's single window so that it is distributed "quickly, time can be saved and bureaucracy is avoided." .

Along these lines, the head of the Consell has indicated that a package of social aid is contemplated, which includes a permanent psychological assistance service, beyond the urgent assistance that the Valencia City Council is providing in collaboration with the Red Cross, as well as such as the preferential relocation of dependent or vulnerable people who need a place in a residence, day center or specialized center, and the preferential reschooling of minors whose families decide to send their children to school in another location.

The Generalitat will also offer free public transportation for affected families for a minimum of one year, and has coordinated with various animal shelters to facilitate temporary access for pets that may require care by making two veterinary hospitals available in case they are necessary.

At the same time, the Valencia City Council has made the newly built residential building located on Cristina Piris López-Dóriga street, in Safranar, available to affected people who request it. It is a brand new, municipally owned building with 131 2 and 3 bedroom homes with 84 parking spaces and 131 bicycle spaces.

In addition, the municipal government has created a line of financial aid to alleviate the loss of household equipment for people who have lost their home.
