David Bisbal, endless dance in the middle of nature

Some enjoy their vacations on paradisiacal beaches and others have the same fun but on stage. This is the case of David Bisbal, who in recent weeks has not stopped working. As soon as a festival closes -he will be in charge of putting an end to Cap Roig this Saturday-, as soon as another begins, because yesterday he opened the second day of Summerfest Cerdanya, thus taking over from the Argentine tribute band God Save the Queen , who sang some of the most memorable hymns by Freddie Mercury and his band.

The singer from Almería performed with ease during the almost two hours of the concert. “I don't intend to lose the slightest bit of time. Have you eaten well? Have you hydrated? I warn you because this is a concert in which no one stops ”, he anticipated those present when he appeared on the scene dressed in an elegant light blue suit.

The public responded effusively. And it is that, if the Andalusian artist achieves anything, it is to spread his rhythm and movements, including the famous twist with a kick that he made so popular during his stay in the program Operación Triunfo, which brought him fame more than twenty years ago. "I remember when I arrived in Barcelona with my curls to do that casting."

The most nostalgic moments slipped through the encouragement and compliments of his fans. "Bravo, handsome!" A group of friends often shouted from the front row. "Say hello to my mother," asked another who was making a video call.

The vocalist returned all the gestures of affection with a smile and with a wide repertoire that included bachata, disco, Latin pop and great ballads for which it seems that time does not pass, such as My Princess, which moved a large part of the attendees, especially to María, a girl from the audience that the singer met half an hour before the show and to whom he dedicated the song.

The night also gave two songs to premiere. A slow one, named after his last album and tour, I feel alive; and another with eighties overtones, My heart is broken. "Tonight I sing them for the first time."

The newer themes were interspersed with the classics. They did not lack Hey the boom , I will cry the sorrows or Walk and come . Of course, he saved the most popular ones for last. And it is that a David Bisbal concert without the sound of Corazón Latino, Bulería or Ave María would be enjoyed, yes, but it would not be the same.
