Daniel Sancho Bronchalo arrived in Thailand on July 31 as a tourist and confessed to having murdered the surgeon. "The victim and the suspect knew each other before coming to Thailand, and his dubious activities indicate that he may have murdered the victim," Thai authorities said. The photos of the murder suspect appear to match images on the Instagram account of Daniel Sancho, who also follows the victim's account. Both would know each other previously.
The local authorities decided this Friday to question Sancho as a suspect, who showed cuts and scratches on his body when he appeared at the police station, police sources told EFE.
