The president of the Regional Council of Pallars Sobirà, Carlos Isus, filed a criminal complaint, last September 8, against the mayoress of Baix Pallars, Anna Sentinella.
The trigger was a letter in which she accused him of having an "authoritarian, sexist and arrogant" attitude and which she sent to all the mayors of the region, the Provincial Council, the Presidency and some departments of the Government.
Isus has stated that he has only that path left to defend himself. Previously, the president asked the mayor for a rectification that did not satisfy the president.
It all started with a disagreement from the Baix Pallars City Council in the distribution of the Technical Assistance Service (SAT) that the council offers to the City Councils.
During the course of a plenary session of the Regional Council held this Tuesday, the ERC-AM group has shown its support for the president in the decisions and actions taken in relation to the regional SAT service.
The group has also recalled that it is in the Regional Council that "legitimately corresponds" to resolve the distribution of the SAT, since it is the administration that provides the service with its own officials.
In the case of the Sobirà council, the president affirms that the distribution was made after consulting and valuing the opinion of the actors involved.
ERC-AM accepts "any criticism" that may be made of the redistribution of SAT troops, but considers what the mayor of Baix Pallars has made "absolutely inadmissible". Furthermore, they also regret that in the letter sent by the mayor, she equates the conduct of the president of the Regional Council with the world of sports, at a time when "every day it is grabbing headlines in the media."
Nor do they agree that the president is described as "authoritarian, arrogant, misogynistic and arrogant" or that he threatens that the president's actions "cannot go unpunished and must have consequences."
In the writing that was read during the plenary session, the rejection and condemnation of "the assessments and expressions" expressed in the writing of said mayor, which are "totally false, unfounded and deeply unjust," were expressed.
The distribution of the five SATs of the Pallars Sobirà has been fully ratified with the favorable votes of all the political formations (ERC-AM, Junts, PSC and Gent de Poble) except the Som-hi Baix Pallars and Vall de Cardós Amont coalition.
