Celebrities get ahead of Halloween

The celebration of the Halloween party has become a sacred and immovable date in the calendars of many celebrities. Throughout the month of October, hundreds of families decorate their homes with pumpkins, skulls, and cobwebs to prepare for the scariest night of the year. The costume is king in this festival and skill is the key to success.

The big fans of Halloween prepare their outfits months in advance and not only do they have enough to dress up once, but they do it repeatedly during the days leading up to the holiday. In the United States, the law of “anything goes” prevails, that is, the costume does not have to be inspired by a horror character and any option is valid as long as it resembles reality as closely as possible.

The Kardashian clan is part of the select Halloween fan club. Last year, Kylie Jenner was the first to start the costume marathon with a Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture design inspired by the Bride of Frankenstein – wig included. Kendall Jenner followed with an outfit identical to that of the cowgirl Jessie, from the movie Toy Story.

This year, the model has already shared one of her costumes inspired by Marilyn Monroe's most famous pose in the patio of her Hollywood home. Jenner has recreated the same image with a platinum blonde wig, period makeup, and the classic black turtleneck. Kim Kardashian, for her part, transformed into Mystique from X-Men. This year, the businesswoman has only shared the decoration of her house with a skull theme.

Other celebrities already attended last Saturday one of the official Halloween parties organized by television personality Vas J. Morgan and director and screenwriter Michael Braun in the city of Los Angeles. The Biebers, who dress up religiously every year, recreated a scene from the horror parody Scary Movie in which Scream stabs one of her leads and rips the silicone implant out of her chest. Hailey Bieber shared the images on her Instagram account and, for the official pre-Halloween party, she dressed as Pebbles Flintstone, the daughter of Wilma and Fred Flintstone.

Demi Lovato was also inspired by an animated character and dressed as Snow White from the 1937 Disney classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The singer completed her look with a large bow on her head and lipstick in a vibrant passion red shade.

Another singer, the American songwriter Halsey, dressed as a mythological mermaid with a transparent skirt, a white bra and many accessories in the shape of seashells. She finished it off with a long red wig and fantasy makeup with lots of glitter in aquamarine tones.

A few days after dressing up as Britney Spears at the party organized by the founders of the Casamigos tequila brand - owned by Rande Gerber and George Clooney -, Paris Hilton dressed as another pop star: Katy Perry. The businesswoman was characterized as one of the looks that the singer wore at a concert in Las Vegas: a red latex jumpsuit and a mushroom-shaped hat.

The duo formed by Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox also dressed up this weekend to attend several scary dates. The first styling was inspired by Quentin Tarantino's saga, Kill Bill Vol.1.

The singer donned the mythical yellow assassin's jumpsuit and the actress characterized herself as the Japanese Gogo Yubari dressed in a schoolgirl outfit and a dark wig with the characteristic straight bangs. On Saturday night they dressed up again, this time as the anime characters from the manga film Deathnote.

Actress Kate Beckinsale was inspired by the iconic science fiction character Barbarella - played by Jane Fonda in 1967 - with the iconic voluminous hair of the time and a torn black suit.

Kaia Gerber and her partner, actor Austin Butler, opted for a joint costume, in this case that of the artist Andy Warhol and that of his muse, the disgraced actress and model Edie Sedgwick. For their part, the hosts of the party before Halloween night, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, opted for an infallible classic: Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, the protagonists of the movie Grease. The nineties supermodel put on the legendary tight black suit, dark trench coat and finished it off with Olivia Newton-John's curly blonde hair. He is all in black, with his hair gelled in the purest John Travolta style.
