Catalan skiing opens almost all its stations with little snow and special rate

The ski resorts have waited until the last minute to confirm the global start of the 2023/24 season, after Baqueira-Beret was the first resort in Spain to open its doors on the last weekend of November. Until yesterday, the complexes that still remain closed did not confirm the date of its premiere. Throughout the day, most of these stations (except Vallter) announced that the starting signal will be given today. But it will be a premiere, in many of these complexes, under minimum conditions. Conditions are expected to improve as the week progresses, with new snowfall and low temperatures allowing for snow production.

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat announces that La Molina, Port Ainé, Espot, Boí Taüll and Vall de Núria are opening today. Vallter will do it tomorrow. Those stations open with a special pass price to be able to offer, at the moment, a few kilometers of track. Masella also announced yesterday that it is opening its doors today with the hope of being able to expand the ski area throughout the week. Port del Comte will raise the curtain tomorrow.

The station with the best conditions, at the moment, continues to be Baqueira, which is already beginning to open slopes in the Bonaigua and Beret sectors.

The Grandvalira Resorts resorts in Andorra announce that they are also opening their doors today with 91 kilometers of ski slopes among all the group's resorts.
