In this series of snapshots in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can see different perspectives of the landscape of Castellfollit de Riubregós, border land between the counties of Anoia and Segarra,

This photograph that we see below is captured from a high point from which you can see a lot of the region with your view. You can see Conill, in Anoia, and its mills. And, to the right, the Escura, a farmhouse in Calonge de Segarra.

Castellfollit de Riubregós belongs to the Anoia region, but given its location in the Llobregós Valley, it is the gateway to and communication with the Segarra region.

This town, dedicated mainly to agriculture and livestock, is of medieval origin. Already then he was born in lands considered frontier, under the protection of a castle that still stands majestically today among its own ruins. It still preserves two of the four watchtowers that watched over these landscapes for centuries.

The municipality, apart from the urban core, is made up of several farmhouses scattered throughout its territory, which has an area of 26.28 km2.

In this last photograph, although you may not believe it, you can see the Aguda de Torà, which as the one who said a few days ago was from La Segarra, but which now belongs to Solsonès.
