C-3PO's head up for auction

40 years after "Return of the Jedi" was released, the third of the Star Wars films, the head of C-3PO, the iconic robot from Georges Lucas' saga, is up for auction. A cult production that has millions of followers around the world, so the final price of the item promises to be more than interesting.

They estimate that the starting price at the auction will be between half a million and a million dollars, a very important figure that will end up being stratospheric, especially when the millionaire fans of the original triology bid for the head of the friendly android.

Its appearance is completely the original, just as when it appeared in the movie: gold plated and with a rather worn look on the upper part. A week before its auction it can be seen on display in a gallery located in a town near Los Angeles.
