Blanes debuts floats from the Three Kings parade: seven new and one renewed

The Blanes City Council, in the Selva region (Girona) will completely renew the floats of the Three Kings parade. Seven new ones have been built and an eighth has been renovated from top to bottom.

The parade will have 300 participants and will also incorporate other elements such as exotic birds that seek to recreate magic and the Middle East.

This year there will also be two floats dedicated to the world of Disney. One of them will focus on the 'Jungle Book' and the other will be for one of the most classic princesses: Snow White.

There will be another dedicated to all the storybook princesses and a fourth dedicated to the world of the circus. Next, the gift float will parade and closing the procession will be the Three Wise Men's float.

The new Blanes government team has reformulated the parade of the Three Wise Men, a project they have been working on since the end of summer.

At five in the afternoon the events will start with a batucada by the Sa Forcanera devil group in the Plaza de Catalunya so that the entire public moves to the Regional Library, where the three Kings will arrive. It will be around five thirty in the afternoon, surrounded by a pyrotechnic show.

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will go to the Paseo de la Marina, where the floats await them with which they will parade through the streets of Blanes.

At six in the afternoon the procession will leave for Paseo del Mar, continue up Ample Street and surround Plaza de la Solidaritat. Then you will go down the Joaquim Ruyra boulevard to Xavier Brunet street. At this point, the Three Wise Men will get off and walk along the Dins promenade until they reach the town hall, where the mayor of the municipality and other councilors will be waiting for them. There he will give them the key to the city to enter all the houses.

Afterwards, a shower of candy is planned and the kings will go to the Paseo del Mar, where the royal camp will be set up. At that moment the children will be able to give them the letter and talk to them personally before kicking off the most magical night of the year.

Throughout the parade, 300 volunteers will participate, including dancers, clowns and superheroes. In the royal processions there will also be court nobles, standard bearers, banners and royal banners, apart from traditional gifts such as gold, myrrh and incense.
