Ayuso repositions herself in the face of her partner's tax fraud and is only responsible for her Government

"I respond for the Community of Madrid, which has nothing to do with this story" (...) "The defense strategies of an individual are not part of my responsibility as president." Five days, and as many leaks about the case, later, Isabel Díaz Ayuso has modified her tactics in the face of the tax case - amounting to 350,951 euros - that affects her partner. And if the president of the Community on Wednesday not only defended Alberto González Amador in the first person of the crimes that he is accused of for tax fraud - she even revealed that it is the Treasury that owed "600.00 euros to his partner" -, this Monday she has chosen for differentiating between her boyfriend's defense and her own.

Quickly releasing the burden of the open case with her partner, the Madrid president has wondered how the "tax inspection" of González Amador "is doing the rounds in all the media." And that is why she has pointed out that the Government is using "all the tools and powers of the State to harm a politician", something that she has called "chavista" and "illegal."

In Ayuso's opinion, "squid ink" is being thrown to cover up the amnesty law and the case of José Luis Ábalos' former advisor, and he has asked the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for explanations for the "spurious" use of the " state powers". "There are others who must give explanations, those who are leading us to a referendum and the destruction of Spain. Those who have a special interest in diverting attention."

"A president who, in turn, has a woman who has nothing to do with the sectors in which he has been operating in these years with an obvious conflict of interests and representing the entire world, and who is involved in a plot for which no one gives a single explanation," Ayuso mentioned, and stressed that it is the Government that has to give explanations for the Koldo case.

Ayuso has also responded to the threats made by his chief of staff to Eldiario.es, the media that uncovered the tax investigation, but has framed it in a discussion between two "trusted" people. "Now we can't get angry with trusted people either because everything is leaked," he said.

According to elDiario.es, Rodríguez would have threatened the media outlet itself in writing after publishing information about the alleged tax fraud of Díaz Ayuso's partner, Alberto González Amador, which has given rise to a complaint from the Madrid Provincial Prosecutor's Office. which accuses him of defrauding the Treasury of 350,951 euros through false invoices and shell companies.

Despite the explanations given by Ayuso, both Más Madrid and PSOE have insisted on demanding that Ayuso dismiss his chief of staff. Both parties have also requested that Miguel Ángel Rodríguez appear in the Madrid Assembly. And members of the Government, the Madrid left, and even the Federation of Associations of Journalists of Spain (FAPE) and the Madrid Press Association (APM) have joined their criticism.
