Ayuso pardons Almeida by integrating him into the Madrid PP Executive that she will preside over

With the only uncertainty of knowing the final percentage of support, the candidate to preside over the Madrid PP, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has listed the team that will accompany her in the renewal of the Madrid PP that will begin today as soon as its president is elected.

The Madrilenian has considered settled the open internal battles in the party after the espionage attempt that precipitated the departure of the previous national leadership, emphasizing the inclusion in its structure of the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, as a member of the new Executive Committee of the formation.

Along with the appointment, Ayuso has addressed the group of attendees to the conclave to emphasize that she and the mayor are not "two halves" but "the same team", which has worked together with the pandemic with "complicity" and "coordination" .

A tandem that broke down in the summer of 2000 when Almeida was appointed national spokesperson for the PP by the leadership, but who has been able to heal the open wounds caused by the internal war unleashed between Ayuso and Pablo Casado, already outside the organization.

Before taking the controls, Ayuso thanked the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, for his confidence "without guardianship" in accelerating the celebration of this conclave that Casado tried to delay, while at the same time transferring to him that the Madrid PP is his " House".

"Now we have the most important challenge in 2023 and we will face it together again," said Ayuso, who has claimed the Madrid PP as "the people's party", "street and gang member of squares, terraces, shops, stadiums or companies ".

The popular leader has designed a team "with people of proven solvency" who acquire responsibilities in the organization for the first time, from whose leadership Ana Camíns, Mar Blanco, Carlos Izquierdo and David Pérez, close to former former president Pablo Casado, in addition to Almudena Black.

The Madrid leader has extolled the "freedom" that, in her opinion, the PP carries in its DNA to represent "the best of Spain." The best "antidote", she has pointed out, before a central government that "every day erodes Justice and institutions, and offends the State Security Forces and Bodies".

For this, he proposes to "open the doors and windows" to the Spaniards who want a "political change" that is "essential for Spain" and assures that he wants from Madrid to contribute his "grain of sand" to take this country "forward". A second level commitment that denotes the change of cycle that the replacement of Casado at the head of the national PP after the election of Alberto Núñez Feijóo has meant for Ayuso.

Ayuso's commitment is to create a smaller structure, which has new areas that did not exist before to give priority weight "to disability, the family, the birth rate and policies that have to do with motherhood and fatherhood ".

All with the idea of forming a perfect gear for the transcendental electoral year of 2023 for which Ayuso hopes to transfer the results he garnered in the regional elections of 2021 to all the municipalities of the south. The historical fiefdoms of the red belt controlled by the PSOE.
