Calldetenes opens to street art

The third edition of the Street Arts Festival (FACC) has started today in Calldetenes, Osona region. The interventions on the facades of buildings in the town stand out, which are the images that I share in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

Under the motto Let's take care of art, Calldetenes hosts, from April 25 to 28, the third edition of this festival with urban art installations as the headliner. He stands out for his interventions on the walls of several buildings in the municipality.

In one of the snapshots we see La Nena, very popular in Calldetenes for running the bar-cum-grocery with the same name. It's been a year since she left us, in the background we see the bell tower.

Another attractive wall is the girl with the book and the mobile phone, which is also part of this selection of images for this photo report.

Just after painting, I also captured the snapshot of the façade with swallows and, if you look closely, there are four swallow nests under the roof.

Very close to the swallows we find this wall with pears. Also, on the outskirts, we found this inspiring wall with the girl, the clouds and the flowers.

These murals are carried out by renowned artists such as Lídia Cao and Lily Brick, in the large format section, and others such as Big Top, Manel Catllà and Elsa Pons. In addition, the festival reserves a space for the creations of the people from the Sant Tomàs Occupational Center. In addition, a group of artists will paint the Jam and Graffitis space together.

And in the center of the town there is still a large wall from the first edition of the festival: Instruction at the rear Calldetenes, 1938.
