Arsenal signs a tremendous comeback to maintain their lead in the Premier

Saturday's day in the Premier League did not lack any emotion, especially as regards the fight for the title. Chasing Manchester City opened the day with a victory against Newcastle (2-0) putting pressure on Arsenal, who responded with a tremendous comeback against Bournemouth (3-2) thanks to a goal by Nelson after time (minute 97 ), to maintain their 5 point lead in the standings.

The feat of the Gunner team deserves the beginning of the chronicle. With City provisionally only two points behind in the standings, Arteta's team saw Bournemouth, one of the three teams occupying the relegation place, take the lead thanks to goals from Billing, as soon as they started, and Senesi, making a jump the championship up in the air

It was a very hard blow for Arsenal who, however, did not stop believing and kept a cool head, maintaining their style of play and attacking non-stop. Thomas Partey and White equalized forces with twenty more minutes of added time still to play, but there the Gunner momentum seemed to stop dead.

And when everything seemed lost, when everything indicated that Ctiy would cut another two points in the table to the leader, the figure of Nelson emerged in the 97th minute, after the six that the referee had ordered addition, to impale the ball from the front, beat ex-Barcelona Neto and unleash absolute madness at the Emirates Stadium.

A few hours earlier, Manchester City had not failed before the visit of the mighty Newcastle to the Etihad and put all the pressure on Arsenal. The goals from Foden, after a great drive, and from Bernardo Silva made it 2-0 for Guardiola's men.
