Arsenal has been awarded this Saturday the XI edition of the Emirates Cup, a summer tournament organized by the London club, with a crushing rout (6-0) over Sevilla that was cemented in about twenty initial minutes in which the team led by Julen Lopetegui conceded four goals.

The team from Seville did not have any kind of reaction and was unable to fight against a much more focused Arsenal. Saka opened the scoring with a debatable penalty from Rekik, but there Sevilla disappeared. In 20 minutes, the Sevillian team was losing 4-0, with two goals from Saka and another two from Gabriel Jesús.

In the second half, Lopetegui's men came out wanting to improve their image, but the reality was that during the 90 minutes Sevilla did not shoot between the three posts. Lopetegui decided to bring on several homegrown players and reserve his strength for tomorrow's Sunday game against Leicester.

In the final stretch of the clash and with a Sevilla still missing, Gabriel Jesús completed his triplet and Nketiah closed the scoring to certify that the sale of their starting central defenders, Diego Carlos and Koundé, has greatly weakened the squad coached by Julen Lopetegui.
