Spring comes to DO Cava full of wine tourism activities designed for all publics. They are offered outdoors to enjoy the budding and flowering period of the vines on the weekends from May 4 to 26. The Cava Spring will be celebrated in 16 cavas in Alt Penedès, Alt Camp, Conca de Barberà and Alella coordinated by the Aecava employer.
In this seventh edition, the cavas can be paired with a 4-voice concert in the chapel of the Barbershop Metropolitan Union or with a musical afternoon with Laura Murillo while the sun sets. There will be no shortage of Nordic walking, walking and collecting rubbish in teams (plogging), a ten kilometer race through the vines or touring vineyards in an all-terrain vehicle.
Whoever prefers it can meditate among vineyards, practice yoga outdoors, participate in cooking workshops, discover ecological and regenerative viticulture or the evolution of wine-growing Penedès. And you can even learn to differentiate the varieties of vines by observing their leaves.
The winegrower's lunches are back (there will be no shortage of proposals with sausage, dried meats and bread with tomato or with sausages from Mallart and Mitjans del Penedès) or pairings with artisanal gastronomic products, with chocolates from Simón Coll and cheeses from the refiner Xerigots or selected by the center Artefor research.
