Alimentaria will return to the Fira de Barcelona next March with more than 350 activities

In total there will be more than 350 sessions - including presentations, round tables, conferences and demonstrations - focused on topics ranging from the application of Artificial Intelligence in the development of new products to how this sector could be more sustainable. Around 700 top-level experts will take part in them, including chefs like Ferran Adrià and nutritionists like Carlos Ríos.

The Alimentaria Hub, where innovation and the show's business are concentrated, will bring together more than 200 experts related to management, entrepreneurship and marketing. In it, you can find the exhibition of the 300 most innovative products in this new edition of Alimentaria, the solutions proposed by 14 startups called to revolutionize the food and hospitality sector or the XIV International Congress of the Mediterranean Diet.

This year the show will also debut the new areas The Horeca Hub; Coffee, Bakery

The best olive oils and organic products will have their space at The Olive Oil Bar, where hundreds of Spanish EVOOs can be tasted. In this edition it will be sponsored by Foods of Spain, which will exhibit the best extra virgin olive oils from the 2023/24 campaign awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food - and CaixaBank. As explained in a statement by J. Antonio Valls, general director of Alimentaria Exhibitions, the new program includes content of maximum interest to professionals in the Horeca sector, with the intention that they can then add value to their businesses. "We want the event to be an event to learn, share, live and discover the great challenges and future trends of the sector."
