Alfred García clarifies the rumor about whether he donated the money he earned in 'Operación Triunfo'

The Three Doors has reached the end of its second season. The program presented by María Casado ended the season this week with three exceptional guests: the actress Goya Toledo, the casting director Luis San Narciso and the singer Alfred García.

Alfred García has been very happy to attend the La 2 program. The Catalan made himself known at the Operación Triunfo academy, the TVE program catapulted him to fame and became one of the favorite contestants on the successful talent show .

At the beginning of his interview with María Casado, the artist recalled what his first months after leaving the Operación Triunfo Academy were like: "We were a bunch of artists who came out of a program with great success. In my case, I went to Eurovision, apart from of the program, and there I embarked on a 3-year tour in which I had to not only do the concerts, which were more than 150, but also do the promotions, the programs...", Alfred explained.

However, there came a time when the artist couldn't take it anymore and was forced to stop dead: "When I saw that I was moving a little away from the life that I liked to lead, I made a parenthesis... I needed to stop. That hiatus has lasted a year and a half," Alfred detailed.

However, the young artist has assured that he has not stopped working during all this time in which he has been away from the spotlight: "I have not stopped working behind the spotlight, stuck in the fish tank, stuck in the studio doing things wonderful. Yes, I needed to stop and at that moment I didn't want to stop but it was what my body and my head needed and that's what I did".

On the other hand, Alfred García has clarified whether the rumor that circulates about what he did with the money from the contest is true or not. The young artist has explained that he did not donate it: "No, that is a very unfortunate headline. Once they asked me a question that is 'what did you do with the first salary you earned?' And it is true that I donated the first salary I earned ", he has qualified.

"I have never lacked for anything and if I can help make the lives of others easier, I will do it. I will always do it, whether I make it public or not," the visibly serious artist has sentenced. It should be noted that Alfred regularly participates in various solidarity acts.
