The mayor of Badalona, Xavier Garcia Albiol, has ordered the municipal brigade to build with cement several speed bars in the Les Guixeres industrial estate where, especially on weekends, illegal car and motorcycle races take place, generating a noise that neighbors have repeatedly denounced.
The residents of the Pomar neighborhood were fed up with the illegal races held at the industrial park. They explain that, especially on weekends, the situation is unbearable and that at dawn they cannot fall asleep because of the roar of the engines.
It happened that some anonymous neighbor, upset at not being able to rest, spread nails on the asphalt, which generated a lot of tension in the area since the rest of the vehicles also suffered punctures.
As if this were not enough, neighbors warn that the neighborhood is an open-air repair workshop and that several groups spend the day repairing motorcycles and cars, performing engine tests with deafening noise.
