Bad news for the world of culture. The actress Silvia Tortosa has died at the age of 77, as stated this Saturday by the Union of Actors and Actresses. The performer, one of the most recognized in our country in the 70s, debuted at the age of fifteen in the world of theater with the role of Dorita in The Wizard of Oz and in the cinema at the age of nineteen, in the film The Last Saturday , by Pedro Balañá.

"The actress had a long professional career in film, theater and television. From the Union, our most sincere condolences," the organization wrote on its profile on the social network X this Saturday morning. Widely versatile, Silvia, known as 'the muse of uncovering', played her role as an actress, but also made her first steps in the world of music, direction and even as a presenter. She appeared for the first time before the TVE cameras in the late 60s, where she participated in several eminently commercial films.
