The Espai de Joc 0-99 reopens its season this weekend with the arrival of spring in the Clariana in Plaça de les Glòries. The space will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will have multiple games for all ages.
The project inspired by the Paris Outdoor Playground seeks to stimulate shared and intergenerational play, promoting social diversity. Likewise, it aims to recover public spaces as meeting points and counteract the use of screens, offering an open and natural urban space. As the activities are outdoors, in case of adverse weather, the space will be closed.
The space offers free services of recreational material and board games, traditional games, games from around the world, among others. Espai de Joc 0-99 offers up to 300 types of games depending on age and type.
During the season, the space is expected to host other types of events, related to the game and thematic dyads. Furthermore, the model used is offered to different entities, schools or associations.
