A 45-year-old man is in critical condition after accidentally falling from an eight-meter-high scaffolding this Tuesday while working on the construction of a residential building in the Hortaleza district.

It was shortly before one in the afternoon when the man fell to the ground from the top of the scaffolding on which he was standing while working on a construction site at number 45 Antonio López Torres Street, Emergencies 112 of the Madrid's community.

The impact on the ground caused severe head trauma and he went into cardiorespiratory arrest.

After half an hour of resuscitation, the Summa 112 paramedics managed to reverse the stop, stabilized the man and transferred him in critical condition to the La Paz Hospital, where he remains admitted.
