The National Police have arrested a woman for allegedly insulting and attacking another woman whom she identified as belonging to the Jewish community during a pro-Palestinian demonstration held in the center of Madrid.
As reported by the Madrid Police Headquarters, the woman was arrested yesterday Thursday afternoon after the victim filed a complaint.
The demonstration in which the events take place took place last Tuesday in the central area of Madrid and the alleged aggressor participated.
At one point during the march he identified another woman as a member of the Jewish community, which is why he insulted and attacked her.
After the victim's complaint, the National Police opened an investigation to clarify the facts and after gathering the version of witnesses, located and arrested the alleged aggressor for alleged hate crimes, damages and injuries.
