A new way to make camping more sustainable, ecological, nature and luxury

Camping holidays have always been the most fun. Sleeping in tents or caravans, new friends and the pool make summer an unforgettable time. But times change and campsites try to adapt to new needs, and Wecamp has been able to reinvent holidays.

Wecamp is presented as the new generation of luxury accommodation campsites that have minimal intervention with the environment. The maxim of the project is respect for nature and the community in tune with the standards of a good hotel. It is a new way of camping where you can enjoy nature in a sustainable and comfortable way, the result is a quality space.

At the moment we can only enjoy this type of accommodation in Spain: Santa Cristina, Cadaqués and Cala Montgó on the Costa Brava, Cabo de Gata in the south of the country, a 5-minute walk from the town of Las Negras, in the middle of the natural park. Monte Igueldo in San Sebastián and in the Pyrenees, in Boltaña, next to the nature reserves. But three more openings are planned shortly.

With this type of glamping, a fairer and more sustainable tourism model is proposed, they are committed to green and energy-efficient constructions. They want to promote the local economy by prioritizing the use of products and services from the area, and protect the environment with conservation actions. The common areas are also a fundamental element, with a restaurant, bar and pool, picnic area, laundry, supermarket, reception or a Kids Club.

The work of Sandra Tarruella, the interior designer who has carried out the project, adopts a great personality by being inspired by the Costa Brava of the sixties to design its architecture and define the aesthetics. Austere elements and designs, such as white walls, and native materials, such as ceramic tiles and slate walls.

The constructions are made up of: apartments, shops, tiny houses and exclusive plots for motorhomes. Wecamp includes queen size beds, amenities, sheets and towels in its service. There are different options to stay in each destination: camping tents for two people or rooms for four people equipped with kitchen, private bathroom and terrace. The Glamping Family with a capacity for six people, equipped with kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Cottage Couple family tents, for two or four people that offer a stay in nature. Tiny Homes for four people, apartments with a sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom, bungalows, domes, wooden cabins and pitches for caravans complete the wide offer. You just have to choose what suits the needs of each one.
