The Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal group dedicated to sending drugs, mainly hashish, to European countries through parcel delivery companies in the province of Malaga, in an operation that has resulted in three arrests.

During the investigation, the agents have determined that one of the parcel companies, in addition to shipping drugs, was also used to store the drugs in its facilities until it was sent hidden in containers with furniture, as reported by the Civil Guard in a statement.

The agents placed under surveillance the alleged members of the organization who were hiding in a hotel complex located in the Malaga town of Estepona and finally arrested three people of English, Swedish and Thai nationality for crimes against public health and belonging to criminal organization. The judge has ordered prison for them, and three more people are still being investigated.

During the operation, the agents detected a van that left several large boxes at one of these transport companies. When a search was carried out, twenty boxes were found perfectly packed as household items, but 389 kilograms of hashish were hidden inside.

Additionally, in the search of the same company, the agents seized 123 grams of marijuana buds, 17 grams of MDMA and 20 grams of cocaine.
