A man died this Thursday in a Barcelona hospital after being admitted in critical condition last Tuesday following a fight that took place in Plaza Catalunya in the Catalan capital. According to El Caso.cat, the event took place around ten o'clock at night on Tuesday and the Mossos d'Esquadra are already investigating the case as a possible homicide. The autopsy will be performed in the next few hours.
The Urban Police went to the scene of the incident that same night and were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator. According to sources, the intervention of an off-duty national police officer facilitated the retention of the alleged aggressor. The case is under judicial secrecy and is in the hands of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Catalan police. One of the hypotheses already ruled out is that it was a robbery with violence.
