A three-year-old girl has been injured after being hooked by an arm in the induction system of a swimming pool in Alzira (Valencia), with her head out of the water, and has been released by firefighters and taken to a hospital.
Sources from the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) have reported that at 2:10 p.m. they received a notice alerting that the event had occurred and, to the place, a Basic Life Support unit has been mobilized (SVB).
According to the sources, the notice indicated that the girl's arm, about three years old, had been caught in the induction system and it was specified that the minor had her head out of the water.
From the Fire Consortium they have reported that, after receiving the notice at 2:12 p.m., a crew of firefighters and a sergeant from the Alzira park, who after several efforts they have managed to free her and have cut a piece of tube that imprisoned her arm.
After being released, the little girl was transferred to the Alzira hospital due to an arm entrapment, according to CICU sources.
