A fire without injuries in a place located in the basement of a block of flats in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat has forced the Firefighters to evict sixteen residents, according to sources from the body.
The events occurred this morning on Terra Baixa street in the town. The notice was received at 4:39 a.m. and five crews went to the building.
Upon arrival, the Firefighters located the fire developing in the basement, due to the smoke that spread throughout the block of flats and the stairs, they proceeded to evacuate the people who lived there.
The flames have been quickly controlled and extinguished and after carrying out the relevant inspection and ventilation tasks, at half past six the residents were able to return home.
