The City Council of Montcada i Reixac, in Vallès Occidental (Barcelona), the Serralada de Marina Park Consortium and Seprona (Nature Protection Service) are carrying out a device this Monday to eliminate a new set of barracks around of the river Besòs.
It is a space where rubble and constructions have recently appeared and where it has been decided to act to prevent it from being used for various functions, from residence to activities related to the underground economy.
Municipal sources detail that the intervention is being carried out in the area known as La Pollancreda (Alameda) of Sant Pere de Reixac, an area "of high ecological value" where "the new settlement was being created in about five hectares."
