A packed house at Liberty’s Memorial Gym took in an exciting Saturday night conclusion to the District 11 3A wrestling tournament.
Nazareth junior 138-pounder Sammy Sasso was named Outstanding Wrestler after he won his third D-11 title 13-5 over Northampton senior Dan Moran. Sasso was one of five Blue Eagle champions.
Bethlehem Catholic topped Nazareth 240-223 for the the team.
