Tour de France 2023: schedule and where to see the tenth stage between Vulcania and Issoire on TV

The 2023 Tour de France returns after the first rest day. In its tenth stage, the French round faces a day of medium mountains between Vulcania and Issoire. The peloton will cover 167.2 kilometers with five third and second category climbs. Among them, the Col de la Croix Saint-Robert, with a 6.3% slope.

In the first nine stages, the battle began with the duel between the Danish Jonas Vingegaard and the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar in style and with many questions still to be resolved: the form of the Slovenian, who seems ready to fight for his third Tour de France, and the ability of the Jumbo Visma to control the race.

In the last stage, the Canadian Michael Woods prevailed at the legendary Puy de Dôme, after beating, with 400 meters to go, the American Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar). In the fight for the general classification, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar shaved eight seconds off the Dane Jonas Vingegaard after attacking him with half a kilometer to go and is now 17 seconds behind the yellow jersey.

"It has been a positive day. Before the final ascent it has not been very hard and I told myself that I had to try something, although I know that Vingegaard is very strong. I wanted to recover some time, I have to put maximum pressure on him", he explained upon arrival the runner from the UAE.

In the fight for third place, the Spanish Carlos Rodríguez cut 14 seconds from the Australian Jai Hindley, who occupies the last step of the provisional podium with a rent of 1.44 minutes.

The tenth stage (medium mountain) of the 2023 Tour de France will cover 167.2 kilometers between Vulcania and Issoire. The day of this Tuesday, July 11, starts at 1:05 p.m. and can be seen on television on RTVE and Eurosport. It can also be followed live through the La Vanguardia website.
