Schedule and where to watch F1 today: Formula 1 Azerbaijan GP in Baku

After three weeks off, Formula 1 returns stronger than ever to Azerbaijan. The circuit, which will be held in Baku, will be the scene of the first sprint race of the 2023 season with changes to the format, with updates to the single-seaters.

Red Bull obtained good results at the Baku Street Circuit, where they obtained victory in the last two editions with Verstappen, in 2022 and 'Checo' Pérez, in 2021. For this reason, the favorite intends to continue this good run by winning once once again. Both are currently first and second in a classification in which third place would go to the Asturian Fernando Alonso.

The Spanish driver is accompanied by Aston Martin and his AM23, with which he has managed to take third place in both Jeddah and Albert Park. His career has excited the Spanish public, which expects Alonso to win a victory in the next few rounds that will be his 33rd in Formula 1 history.

The teams had a single free practice session to prepare for the qualifying test that was held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. After the second classification held yesterday, Saturday 29, spectators will be able to enjoy today the main race of the Grand Prix, which will have 51 laps on a track of more than six kilometres.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the fourth race of Formula 1 2023, will take place today, Sunday, April 30, at 1:00 p.m. It can be followed live on television from the DAZN channels and from the La Vanguardia website the last hour of the race will be followed in real time.
