The three men, who entered one of the homes hooded, according to the owner, were caught while traveling in a van in which the Urban Police found several tools to commit the robberies. They were arrested in the Marimunt area in an operation in which the local police had the collaboration of the Mossos after they were alerted of an attempted robbery in the area.

Larrosa has mentioned the letter he has received from the Minister of the Interior of the Generalitat, Joan Ignasi Elena, in response to another letter he sent to ask him for "more troops and to finish reinforcing this cooperation that we currently have between Mossos d' Squad and Urban Guard. According to Larrosa, this cooperation “is bearing fruit with controls, investigations, etc.”
