Outrage among fans as tickets for Spain-Italy sold out in five minutes

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) reported this Thursday that the tickets for the match that the women's team will play against Italy on December 1 at the Pasarón stadium have been sold out in just five minutes. "It didn't take you even an hour to get all the available tickets for the match against Italy in Pasarón. You are very big, Pontevedra!" wrote the RFEF on its social networks.

There are many fans who have not been able to get a ticket, which has unleashed numerous complaints on social networks. Many of them have reported that despite being registered in an email, they have not been notified when the tickets have gone on sale, so they have not been able to purchase their seat.

The expectation in the city to see the world champions is great, especially to see their countrywoman Tere Abelleira and many do not understand why a stadium has been chosen, Pasarón, with only 12,000 seats available.

Furthermore, according to local media Pontevedra Viva, a good part of the stadium's capacity has not been put up for sale as it is already committed to sponsors and Galician clubs.

The match, corresponding to the group stage of the Women's Nations League, is sponsored by the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, which will pay 200,000 euros for it, as revealed by the provincial entity through a press release. In return, the women's team will visit the Provincial Pazo with the World Champion trophy during their stay in the Galician city.

Spain faces Italy next Friday, December 1 (9:30 p.m.) in a match in which they can already seal their place in the Nations League semifinals. If they don't win, they would still have another chance on the 5th (7pm) against Sweden in La Rosaleda.
