The former soccer player, above all an icon of Arsenal, where he played a large part of his career, also donned the Barça shirt between 2007 and 2010, a stage in which he enjoyed alongside Messi in the Barça forward. Henry was part of the best period in the history of the Catalan club, led by Pep Guardiola, and was especially key in the season of the first treble, 2008-09.
Henry has praised Messi on various occasions, saying that he is "not human" because of his innate ability with the ball.
