Biles adds two new golds and leaves her record at 23

Simone Biles' appetite for victory is insatiable. The American star won her third and fourth gold medal at the World Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp after winning the balance beam and floor finals in convincing fashion on the last day of the competition. With these two new golds, Biles reaches 23 in her career in world championships and 37 medals in total if the Olympic Games are also taken into account.

Biles started the afternoon with an excellent barre routine, oozing confidence throughout. He didn't hesitate and made controlled turns before dismounting in style, with just a slight hop upon landing. She scored 14,800 points to win ahead of China's Zhou Yaqin by a margin of just 0.1 points. Rebeca Andrade from Brazil took the bronze medal.

Later, she took to the mat for her final appearance of a tremendous week, in the floor final. She had achieved the highest score in the classification and impressed again with a series of spectacular steps that captivated the audience, reaching an impressive height in her jumps. Although he went out of bounds midway through his difficult routine, Biles earned the best score of the day, 14.633 points. It was Biles' sixth floor world title, a discipline in which he remains undefeated. Andrade took the silver medal ahead of her Brazilian teammate Flavia Saraiva.

In Antwerp, where she began her collection of 23 world titles 10 years ago as a 16-year-old, Biles has made a stunning return to the international stage. These two golds are added to the silver medal in vault after the sixth all-around title that made her the most decorated gymnast in history, male or female. And she led the American women to a record seventh consecutive victory in the team event. Biles has won a total (record) 37 medals at world championships and the Olympic Games.
