The week begins with weak rainfall in the northern half of the country and clearer rain towards the south. It will rain lightly in the Cantabrian Sea and the Pyrenees. They could be extended to the rest of the extreme north, the Central system, the Iberian system and the Balearic Islands.
The sky will be clearer in the southern half of the peninsula, except for low clouds in the Strait area. In the Canary Islands, slightly cloudy skies will predominate, tending towards intervals of high clouds.
Maximum temperatures will decrease in the extreme north of the peninsula and the Iberian system, they will rise in Andalusia and little change in the rest. They will again be very high in some provinces such as Córdoba (23 degrees), Granada (21), Castellón (21), Murcia (23) and Girona (22).
The anticyclone will predominate until Wednesday, with a front that will begin to approach the Peninsula, without affecting us on this day but that will cause an increase in cloudiness in the northwest, covering the skies in Galicia, without ruling out some weak precipitation in that community. at the last hours.
According to the agency's forecast, precipitation is expected in the northwest half on Thursday, which will probably extend to almost the entire rest of the Peninsula. It will rain more heavily on Friday and will be more abundant in Galicia and the Cantabrian area.
Regarding temperatures, a general and pronounced decrease is expected for Friday, with notable decreases in the Cantabrian area and the eastern half of the peninsula. Frosts will occur in the mountains of the northern half and the southeastern mountains, and they are not ruled out in much of the northern and eastern plateaus of the south.
