NEW YORK, -- Donald Trump will publish his first post-White House book, which, like much else about Trump, is a departure from previous presidents.

Trump will publish a hardcover book containing hundreds of photos from his administration. It includes his captions and some handwritten. "Our Journey Together" will be published Dec. 7th, but not by a New York publisher. Instead, it will be published by Winning Team Publishing, a company founded by Donald Trump Jr.

In a Friday statement, the ex-president stated that "Our Journey Together" features memorable moments from our time together in Washington. These include building the Southern Border Wall, cutting America's taxes, confirming nearly 300 federal judges, 3 Supreme Court justices, rebuilding our military, creating Space Force, dealing with Kim Jong Un, President Xi, and President Putin."

While Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and other Trump predecessors wrote memoirs shortly after their departure from office and announced multi-million-dollar deals with Penguin Random House, other publishing houses, New York publishers have refused to work with Trump, especially after the January 6th siege of the U.S. Capitol, which was carried out by some of his supporters. Simon & Schuster dropped a book written by Sen. Josh Hawley, a Trump backer. The company faced widespread anger for agreeing to publish a memoir by Mike Pence, Trump's vice-president.

Trump has mentioned publishing a memoir as "the book that all books" at times, but has given interviews to Jonathan Karl, Michael Wolff and other writers about him. He could release a memoir through Winning Team. It would be an opportunity to see how a new publisher can manage sales and distribution of a book that could sell millions.

The web site (https://45books.com) for Winning Team Publishing offers few details -- no masthead or listings for books besides Trump's. ("Official Merch") is "coming soon". Gor refused to discuss Winning Team's plans but said that additional authors had been signed. Winning Team Publishing continues a wave conservative imprints such as the Daily Wire's DW Books or All Seasons Press. These imprints were created this year by people who claim they are being "silenced by mainstream publishers."

Trump's statement contained a link to the company website, where you can preorder the book for $74.99 in standard format. (New photo books have been known sell for between $40 and more than $150.) A signed copy will cost $229.99. Amazon.com also lists "Our Journey Together", which Jeff Bezos Trump has repeatedly attacked. However, it was still not available for purchase as of Friday midday. Amazon states that the book has 320 pages and is recommended for 12 year olds.
