Tomorrow, Friday, in the Juvenile Court of Seville, the trial begins against the minor involved in the stabbing of an 18-year-old young man on Halloween night 2022 in Palomares del Río. The detainee, who has since been in a juvenile center, is one of the two arrested in this case, although it is noted that up to 5 people participated in the attack on the victim.

Relatives and friends of the murdered man, Jesús Rosado Jiménez, have called for a rally in front of the doors of the Court with the motto "may evil not last and may good not surrender", demanding justice for this crime. Within the framework of this rally, at 10:00 a.m., María del Carmen Jiménez Cifuentes, mother of Jesús Rosado Jiménez, will read a public statement.

The event left the small municipality of Palomares, with barely 8,500 inhabitants, in shock. The victim, a young man who was well-liked in the town, had gone to the Seville capital to celebrate a Halloween party, an event that was canceled at the last minute and so he decided to return to town. There Jesus met his brother in a park and asked her for the keys to return home. He's gone. Shortly after, they took his life between two cars.

It would be shortly after 3:30 a.m. when everything happened, according to the story of the victim's mother, who has indicated that  that morning he had gone to bed around 2:00 a.m., after which at around 3:45 a.m., the The barking of his dogs caused him to look out onto the street, where he then saw two young people "on the sidewalk in front" of his home, on Federico Moreno Torroba Street in the La Mampela urbanization, who were trying to revive a third young man who was lying in the street. the ground and who turned out to be her son Jesus, something she confirmed when she approached the scene.

"When I saw my son face down on the ground with a bloody nose, which is the only thing I saw, I thought he had fainted," he said, recounting how the two aforementioned boys who had discovered his son on the ground They tried to revive him "doing what the health workers had recommended" by phone, while waiting for the arrival of the medical device.

The young man's mother explained, in this sense, that around 3:20 a.m. her son Jesús met with his brother Ángel in a park in Palomares and asked him for the keys to the house to return to it, mentioned to "a group of seven or eight people who passed in front of them in the same park where they were gathered."

As he pointed out, alluding to the content of the investigations, his son Jesús would have headed towards the house behind the advance of the aforementioned group of young people, but "one of them turned around" and would have said "go for this one" to his companions, letting Jesús passed them, after which "they began to follow him along that entire street."

While on account of this crime, a minor was arrested in Coria del Río, being admitted to a juvenile center and now facing the trial that begins this Friday as an adult, transcending months later the entry into provisional prison, communicated and without bail of a second investigated, already of legal age at the date of the events, for the aforementioned murder; This woman stated that "in three and a half poorly counted minutes," her son "was brutally beaten."

"Five people surrounded him. When they approached him on the corner he ended up on the sidewalk in front of my house. Between two cars they began to hit him and the adult recognizes that he was the one who started it with the first punch to my son in the street. face," he assured, alluding to the content of the investigation.

"They argue that they were going with the intention of stealing, but I think that there was premeditation due to the type of damage that my son had. There was treachery and there was cruelty," considered the victim's mother, explaining that when her son was discovered in the ground, after the attack, "had his cell phone, his wallet, his watch, his chain, his bracelet, he had everything."

Thus, he warned that although there are two people accused of this crime, "there were five who were present and those who were there until the end", including two people who appear as witnesses, also raising his doubt about "if the five were the only ones who were there or not."
